Test Certification:Hazardous substances location certificates for classes 2; gases, 3: flammable liquids, 4: flammable solids, & 5: oxidisers and for Stationary Container Systems (tanks) for the full range of classes; 2,3,4,5,6,8, & 9. Location Test Certificates are required only for the Class 1-5 substances with the information on trigger limit quantities to be found in the scheduled tables at the back of the regulations at: Click here and with information on tanks in Schedule 8, secondary containment Sch 9, and Dangerous Goods Stores and cylinder locations in the NZ Gazette Notice No. 35 at: The end of HSNO Transition 30th June 2006 also signalled the end of the ability for the controlling authority (ERMA) to Gazette Controls. Any changes from now on must be by the more protracted change to regulations involving government. With the exception of those substances covered by the paragraph below, all single component Hazardous Substances have now been transferred and can be searched on through the following link: http://www.ermanz.govt.nz/find/TestCertifierSearch.aspx 30th June also signalled the end of Dangerous Goods Licensing for those Notified Toxic Substances (NOTS) with Class 2 – 5 hazardous properties. Envirocom’s delegation from ERMA to issue DG Licenses ended on that date. We are now in a 2 year period of Transition for NOTS the controls for most of which can be found in the relevant Group Standard.
